I took the Leadership Training Class under Larry. One of the things I learned from his class was “to inspire confidence through encouragement.” Everything I learned from the class helped me as a Lead Tech in the facility where I worked. When I signed up for the Navigation Class last year, the Class was full. But Larry took me in. With Larry, there was always room for one more. At the last Annual Awards Banquet, Larry surprised me as he acknowledged his appreciation for what I did while I was Membership Chair. Larry, those were the most beautiful words for me. I will always remember the day when Larry and I were volunteer “victims” at the last MOFA. He and I were in the same group. First scenario, Larry was “bombarded with bees.” He was flailing his arms, trying to drive the “bees” away. I couldn’t figure if he was doing the Macarena or acting like a madman. We had a great time as MOFA “victims.” Larry, you will be greatly missed. We all love you.
