Larry and I were often at work early together at City Hall and we had a pact - he'd make the coffee when he came in and I'd be sure to bring in "dark roast" when I brought in a can. Larry didn't like wimpy coffee! Larry was an incredibly nice person to work with. I would often tease him about his snack/lunch of fresh vegetables but he could also make the most delicious pies for potlucks! The most profane thing I ever heard him say was "horse feathers!" I've missed his unique chuckle around City Hall since he retired!
