I first met Larry through city council meetings when he would always make his presentations with grace, humility, and humor. Once, he stopped me after a meeting and asked if I was aware of a particular paving compound which was environmentally friendly. I did and so began our friendship discussing potential "green" options for the city - from concrete to trails to planting trees, we always had fun "planning" for a completely sustainable, green community. I will truely miss him and his bicycle around town. He was a remarkable human being.
