I will always remember Larry’s enthusiasm for life and those around him. He had a wonderful way of being joyful no matter where you would run into him, be it in the mountains or at the Womad festival in Redmond. He was always interested in how you were doing or what you had been up to even if it wasn’t mountaineering oriented. His exuberance for life and sincere way of connecting with people will be greatly missed. He was truly an inspiration for humanity and the human condition.
