As I reflect back on the very short period of time in which I knew Larry, I first met him in this year's Snowshoe course and then got to know him a little more in the Scramble course, I was amazed at how quickly I had great respect and admiration for him. His passion for the mountains was evident as well as his concerns for others. He was one of the few people I have met that so quickly could make a positive lifetime impression on someone.
