I recall accompanying Larry on his first attempt of Olympus and a successful climb he lead on Eldorado. We last teamed up during this year's snowshoe class to lead a few students up Skyline Ridge. The things I remember most about Larry were his quiet determination, his consideration for others, his gruff laugh, and the enjoyment he got from sharing his love of mountaineering with others. I will miss you Larry!
