In October, I joined some friends in the Pasayten. We scrambled up Blackcap, a wonderful ridge route. In the register was a sweet note Sandra wrote, expressing her love for Larry. Larry's was much shorter, but echoed the sentiment. It was a touching moment. My friends did not know Larry, so I read it in silence. It must have been a great day for them.
