Inverter Installation
In this project, we install a 375 watt Victron electrical power inverter into my Mitsubishi Delica L400 to charge a Bluetti battery bank.
This post is a follow-on to 18 Month Delica Campervan Updates, where we installed a Bluetti AC180 battery bank and 100 watt solar panel.
In this post, I provide the details of how I added a 375 watt Victron inverter to charge the Bluetti battery bank while I drive, which now completes my van’s electrical system.
The video at the top of this post discusses how to select an inverter and shows all the details for this installation.
I chose the Victron inverter because:
It is high quality.
It has pure sinewave output, which is better for sensitive electronics.
It includes an interface for connecting to my van’s ignition so that it only pulls power from my van’s battery when the ignition is turned on. This prevents accidental dead batteries.
