ABZ04 Subalpine Glory
Mount Rainier National Park’s subalpine meadows fill with wildflowers in August, attracting visitors to the Park from around the world, and making this my family’s favorite summer camping destination.
Here in this colorful meadow, you can find lupine (purple), Indian paintbrush (red), Sitka valerian (white -larger), bistort (white - smaller) and arnica (yellow).
I made this image just after sunrise while the flowers were still covered in morning dew and the air was calm enough for a 1/8 second exposure.
This image is available for the following products: Metal Prints, Acrylic Wall Prints, Framed Prints and Giclee Fine Art Prints.
Price includes shipping to USA and Canada.
