AFM06 Ruby Beach
Cedar Creek flows out into the Pacific Ocean here at Ruby Beach in Olympic National Park. Easy access makes Ruby Beach one of the more popular stops on the Washington Coast for those driving the Highway 101 loop around the Park. The beach gets its name from the ruby-like crystals in the beach sand.
I made this image on a mid-January evening in the “purple light” that follows sunset. A 5 second exposure smooths out the water in Cedar Creek, giving it a calm and peaceful feeling. Sea stacks reflect in Cedar Creek and are in silhouette against a light mist of ocean spray.
This image is available for the following products: Metal Prints, Acrylic Wall Prints, Framed Prints and Giclee Fine Art Prints.
Price includes shipping to USA and Canada.
